One of the most important issues is dealing with stress.In a normal human brain, there are two main types of chemical activities taking place at any one time. These chemical processes can take place in the cortex, the part of the brain that is responsible for the understanding of language, and in the subcortical area that stores memories, patterns, and information for making decisions.The cortex does all the processing and is divided into layers that correspond to the different levels of processing. A good example of this is the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for different aspects of decision making. The subcortical part of the brain stores emotions, habits, responses, and knowledge which the n lead to a person being able to make a proper decision.Stress is something that occurs in the subcortical region of the brain when it is too much. It will result in increased activity in the subcortical region, which can cause the cortex to malfunction. The increased activity may have a negative impact on the metabolism, which results in a person having a decreased ability to feel satisfaction in life.As a result, people often need to learn new ways of thinking and acting. This may involve acting differently towards themselves and the world around them. They also need to change their current physical habits, such as eating healthy and exercising.Different changes in brain chemistry can be achieved through medication or altering habitual actions, but both of these methods have negative implications. Medication should only be used in the most extreme cases, as it may actually cause more problems than it solves. Furthermore, modifying the actions of individuals can make them more susc eptible to causing problems in the future.The best way to help with the problem of stress is to learn how to have an adequate amount of essential resources to the brain, and then access these resources through daily lifestyle changes. This means learning to handle stress, coping with bad moods, staying away from drug addiction, and learning ways to relax. By improving lifestyle choices, anyone with a brain disorder can successfully change the brain chemistry to one that is more happy.
